The Life of Our Righteous Mother Xenia and Her Two Handmaids, Who Are Commemorated on January 24
Translated by Holy Nativity Convent
“The new and wondrous life of the wondrous Xenia is quite brief in length, and very concise, yet in what it recounts it is exceedingly rich and most beautiful and so compunctionate and so very sweet as to be able to give great benefit to those who piously attend to it. For this blessed one was of a prominent and most noble family, and her baptismal name was 'Eusebia. Her parents were lovers of God, esteemed and wealthy notables of Old Rome, and in general they were rather renowned for their manner of life.” —“INTRODUCTION”
