Bronze Bell (23″)

This is a rough bronze bell with some superficial fissuring around the tang (the piece of metal from which the bell is hung), a result of the casting process. Normally, these surface cracks are machined off when the bell is finished, but this one was accidentally shipped to us before this final procedure was completed. The fissuring is strictly a minor cosmetic defect that in no way impairs the soundness of the bell, either structurally or tonally.
