The koubouklion is the stand on which the epitaphios (the Icon of Christ’s Body) is placed at Vespers on Great Friday. This koubouklion is made from cast aluminum with an antique gold finish. The baldachin has an ornate peacock design.
This can be used for both Pascha and Dormition (Dormition epitaphioi can be ordered through ECS or the Convent of Saint Elizabeth).
