This publication has also been supplemented by additional Services, Prayers and Blessings taken from various sources, and are indicated by †. This Abridged Book of Needs contains those Services, Prayers and Blessings which normally would be served away from the church itself, or in emergency situations. For the convenience of the Priest, a few Blesings and Prayers, customarily served in the church, have been included.”
