This box is decorated with a beautiful painting of a country church. The first storm of winter has just let up. The grey sky shows promise of clearing and the birds have taken flight once again. A deceptively simple looking scene but expertly executed with many fine details in the trees and sky. Mother of pearl has been worked into the sky behind and near the cross. Hinged on the left side, red interior, and four small feet on the base.
